The above picture was taken at the lovely Brenda Higgins Art Exhibition. Long time Dubai resident Brenda very kindly decided to give 30% of all profits made at exhibition to the Angel Appeal. Brenda's work featured beautiful local scenes in ink, water colour and oils. We were delighted to receive a cheque for Dhs 10,000. We would like to say a huge thank you to Brenda and also to Jenny King who provided delicious snacks throughout the day!

Challenge Yourself

We are always very interested in sponsored events and would be most grateful to be chosen as your charity of choice. We have a team of runners each year at the RAK half marathon and would welcome you to run for our benefit—we provide a training/running pack as well as lots of encouragement.  We have also had volunteers running other iconic marathons such as the one in New York as well as completing challenges such as climbing Kilimanjaro.

Whatever you may be planning swimming around the Burj Al Arab,climbing a mountain, doing a bungee jump  - why not raise some funds for us while you are doing it! We would be more than happy to provide sponsorship forms and help raise awareness through our facebook page and newsletter.

Host a bake sale

Everyone body likes cakes, so why not ask some of your colleagues, friends, class mates or family members to bake their favorite cakes and then hold a bake sale and give the proceeds to us! Remember the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach!
Arrange a phone card week
On average we welcome aboard 75 seafarers a day. It is our dream to be able to give free phone cards to every seafarer who comes aboard, unfortunately this is impossible. If you would like to make a day, a week or a month yours by donating phone cards for that amount of time that would be fantastic.

Come up with your own idea! We will be happy to provide pop up banners, collection tins and leaflets to help raise awareness about the cause.
