Gift Wrapping

We have a long tradition of giving gifts to seafarers at festival time such as Eid and Christmas and welcome help with this.

Host a gift drive yourself

We as an organisation give gifts at Christmas, Ramadan and Iranian New Year. If you would like to do your own gift collection and wrapping for any of these festivals or for any other festivals, please go ahead! Usual gifts contain some toiletries, a small pack of dates, small gadgets likes alarm clocks all wrapped up in an Angel Appeal t shirt.

Book & DVD Collections

The Flying Angel has on it a free library from which seafarers can take freely. We are always looking for stock to replenish this. Placing a drop box in your office and encouraging staff to donate some of books and DVDs is a great way to do this.

Toiletry Collections

Each year the Angel Appeal collect, wrap and distribute thousands of presents. In these presents we like to put a number of toiletries. Although we do buy some of them, we are obviously always trying to reduce costs. If you or your colleagues travel business/first class it would be great if you can hold on to the wash bags and give them to us to give as part of a gift for one of our drives.
